New iframe widget available

We’re thrilled to announce our new iframe widget for our premium users!

The iframe widget allows you to embed content from another website into your own with the click of a button. An iframe (short for inline frame) is an HTML element that allows you to display another HTML document within the current one, without having to copy and paste large chunks of code. This is ideal for displaying external content on your website, such as a form, a video, or a map from another platform.

Using the Iframe widget feature can be a convenient way to incorporate external content into your website without linking them away from your website. You can easily embed YouTube video’s, Calendly, Google Maps and third party forms. It’s up to your imagination. To read more about what’s possible, read this knowledge base article.

Fully customizable

We’ve enriched the iframe widget with many handy features. It’s easily possible to resize the iframe content, make it fullscreen, let a background overlay appear or allow additional information by giving it a title bar.

Try it out

Can’t wait to use the iframe widget feature on your website? Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Buttonizer Editor and click on the “Add Buttonor “Create group button.
  2. Select “Widgets” and find the “Iframe Widget” as action type
  3. In the “Iframe URL” field, enter the URL of the external content you want to display or paste the iframe code. This could be a webpage, a form, a video, etc.
  4. Customize the appearance and behavior of your widget as desired.
  5. Now customize the button. You can choose the button label, icon, color, size, and position, as well as set conditions for when the button should be displayed (e.g. on specific pages or devices).
  6. All set? Now click on the “Publish” button to make it live on your website 🚀

Once the button is published, it will appear as a floating widget on the side of the screen (unless you have chosen a different display type) and clicking on it will open the external content in an iframe on your website. Never let your visitor slip away!
